Donna Marie Gilliam Alexander Union,SC Mrs. Donna Marie Gilliam Alexander, age 52, wife of David Alexander, of 719 Lakeside Drive, Union, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Wallace Thomson Hospital. Mrs. Alexander was born in Union, SC on July 17, 1959, a daughter of Kelly Leon Gilliam and the late Etta Sue Mowdy Gilliam. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Union County Communications for 17 ½ years. Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a daughter, Jessica A. Maynard and husband Sam of Whitmire; one son, Michael Alexander of Simpsonville, SC; one brother Doug Gilliam and wife Pam of Buffalo; her stepmother, Brenda Wood Gilliam of Buffalo; two step brothers, Tommy Wood of Cowpens, SC and Toney Wood of Buffalo, SC; one grandson, Hunter Maynard and one niece Hannah Gilliam. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers are Jimmy Crawford, “Bubba” Crawford, Rob Capps, Gregg Davis, and Darrell Jenkins. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM, Tuesday evening at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. The family will be at the home, 719 Lakeside Drive, Union, SC 29379.
