  • Introduction

Doris was a milliner who was admitted to hospital for diphtheria in 1915. She was engaged to Francis Harrup Northey, circa 1915, but he died in WW1 in 1917. She might be in some of Northey's family group photos, with her sister who looked identical. She married Walter Frederick Watkins of Kerferd Road, Albert Park VIC, in 1922 in Neutral Bay, Sydney NSW. She was possibly the same name who was in 1922 in Hobart, TAS as a milliner.
