Dorotha Olmstead 1912-1979 was born Dorotha McIntire. Dorotha Olmstead was my grandmother. She was born Dorotha Irene McIntire on February 23, 1912, to Leroy Wilburn McIntire and his wife, Sarah Edith (Miller) McIntire. She was born in Indiana. Her parents were married August 15, 1908, in Fulton County, Indiana. Dorotha McIntire married Lawrence William Pumroy, in 1928. Their first son who was my father, Jack Lewis Pumroy, was born on April 1, 1929 in Kouts, Indiana. Jack passed away on December 5, 1994, in Connecticut. A second son, James Pumroy, was born on June 13, 1932. James passed away on September 4, 2009, in Goshen, Indiana. Dorotha and Lawrence Pumroy divorced and Dorotha married John G. Olmstead, who was born in 1911. He died in 1962. Dorotha died in March 1979.
