    DOROTHY B. KRUSZEWSKI October 26, 1928 - April 2, 1998 Dorothy B. Kruszewski, 69, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility. Mrs. Kruszewski was born on October 26, 1928 in South Bend and was a lifelong resident. She retired from South Bend Toy after 39 years of service. On July 24, 1948, in South Bend, as Dorothy B. Balcerzak, she married Edward J. Kruszewski, who survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Melady of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Kathleen Ann Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Alicia Melady Barnes, Melanie Ann Johnson and James Monroe Johnson; and by a brother, Raymond Balcerzak of South Bend. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Rita Wasielewski, Mary Nespo, Alice Farrell, Clementine Smudzinski and Sophie Chrzan; and two brothers, Stanley and John Balcerzak. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in St. Stanislaus Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 415 North Brookfield Street, South Bend, Indiana. - The South Bend Tribune (South Bend, Indiana) Sunday, April 5, 1998 on page 34.
