Dorothy (DeVenus) Kane of Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan was born on December 31, 1904 in Lowville, Lewis County, New York United States to LuElla (Sturtz) DeVenus and Martin DeVenus. She had a brother Edward Sunderhaft. She married John Anthony Kane, and had children Neil Joseph Kane, Elizabeth Kane (Buzzelli), and Mary Lu Kane (Colucci). Dorothy Kane died at age 75 years old in March 1980 in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, FL, and was buried circa March 25, 1980 at Mt Olivet Cemetery, in Detroit, Wayne County, MI.
