I knew Dorothy many years ago when I renovated her apartment on East 74 Street and spent years working on the family home at 53 East 91 Street. The glorious townhouse of Oscar Serlin, her father. After 40 years I still remember what I fine and wonderful woman she was and how interesting was her entire family. Her stepmother, Babette Serlin was the epitome of grace and elegance. Her aunt, who managed Pablo Picasso in New York.....all of the family. I knew her children Sara and Daniel as children....
