Dottie June Ripper was born on June 26, 1941 in Pekin, Illinois to parents Ruth M. Slack (died 1946) and Aubrey R. Ripper (1908-1976). She had one brother and her step mom was Norine G. Siegart who her father married on February 6, 1960. She attended Joliet Township High School (Joliet, Illinois, USA) and was a member of the sophomore chorus in 1957. On May 21, 1999, Dottie June Roman passed away, and it is believed she was buried at sea.
