Introduction

When Douglas S. Pilney was around, you knew it. He was the life of the party....funny, loud, dancing, styling and profiling. He graduated from Buckeye South High School in Tiltonsville, Ohio when he was a standout on his high school golf team. He went on to earn a golf scholarship to attend Youngstown University. After college, he was living his dream as a country club pro. He played on the Nike Tour and was working toward his PGA Pro designation. He had recently met the love of his live, Suzi, and they got engaged on Doug's 30th birthday. Seventeen days later, Doug was killed in a terrible car accident while coming home from a wedding. He is missed every day.
