Earl Philipoteaux was my Grandfather. My Mother's father. He had two daughters, Sandra Mae Philipoteaux and Roxann Philipoteaux. My mother Sandra Mae married Robert Lionel Houk and had four children; Kimberly Ann Houk; Mark Lionel Houk; Gregory Dean Houk and Shauna Marie Houk. Sandra divorced and remarried twice. She married Darryl Dean Gilbert and he adopted all four children, thus the children took on the last name of Gilbert. Sandra's sister, Roxann, married Allen Summers and had two children, Kristina Lynn Summers and Geoffrey Summers. My grandfather died 6 months after my mother. My mother died in January 2000, and my grandfather died that following July.
