Earl Maurice Voyles was the child of Susan Rebecca Lee (1876-1965) and Elder Lee Voyles (1869-1939). He was born on March 16, 1914 in McAlpin, Florida. He had siblings Wyatt Wesley (1898-1918), Alaska (1898-1969), Ida Iona (1901-1971), Marie (1904-1921), Theronle Roy (1907-1909), Ruth Beatrice (1908-1980), Echo Dell (1909-1921), Violet (1910-1999), Six (born 1911), Clifton Brunell (1911-1983), Talmadge James (1916-1994), Woodrow Wilson (1918-1999) and Roder clausen Voyles (1920-1972). In 1925, he married Myrtis Knight (born 1912) and they had a son, Robert Earl Voyes (1936-2013) and later separated. On July 22, 1937 he married Alice Litherine Beasley (1916-2002) and they had a daughter named Peggy Ann. Earl Maurice Voyles passed away in ive Oak, Suwannee, Florida, USA on July 19, 2001.
