    Earl was not particularly religious having been born into a very strictly Nazarene family, educating his daughter Donna Lee in a Roman Catholic grade school, seeing his youngest daughter Marla married in a Disciples of Christ church and himself working most Sundays.
  • Military Service

    Earl was a veteran of the US Army. He is buried at Willamette National Cemetery in a shared plot with his daughter Donna and his wife Doris PAULINE Morrow Oney.
  • Professional Career

    Earl was adept at many vocations. He spent time at Monty’s Delivery, Was proud of his AFL-CIO affiliation and Union/Teamsters affiliation while working his many years for Flowers Tommy Luke in Portland, but his fondest job was a bellhop/bellman or bell captain at many of zorego ‘s finest hotels. It is said he could milk a tip out of a turnip! He received a beautiful sterling silver money clip from Frank Sinatra as a tip at one time. He did this hotel work during vacations, and again after he retired from delivery work.
