Introduction

My family moved to Stockton Calif. in 1959 and I became friends with Earle's son John (John Charles Flautt, born August 13, 1948). Mr. Flautt was the nicest kindest person. (His wife's name was Winfred (I believe as she was called winney sp?). I believe Earle was a book keeper for Best Fertilizer. He also lived in Portland at one time and work as an undertaker. Mr. Flautt introduced me to Boy Scouts (I think he was involved with scouting when he was younger), and took me on family camping trips. As a family we would stay up late playing canasta-great fun. Mr. Flautt also introduced me to stamp and coin collecting. Earle's son, John, lives in Pleasant Hill, Ca. There was another lady we called Aunt Ruby who lived in Valley Springs, Ca. and I believe (not sure0 she was Earle's sister. The Flautt's would take me with them to visit Ruby and John and I would play out on her property which was just a few acres, but for city kids it was wonderful. That's about it, As i said he was the nicest person.
