    Edith Mabel (Sinlan) Tobiassen was born on February 18th, 1917 in Bellingham, Washington to Jacob Sinlan (1882 - 1926) and Carrie Edith Myers (1893 - 1985) and she had siblings Doris, Vernon and Marion. Edith M. Sinlan married Lloyd Earnest "Toby" Tobiassen (1910 - 2000) on September 22nd, 1934 in Whatcom County, Washington and they had three children: one daughter, Maxine, and two sons, Lloyd and Larry.     Edith Mabel Tobiassen, age 77, of 5875 Hannegan Road, Bellingham, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday February 14, 1995. A graveside service will be held at Ten Mile Cemetery on what would have been her 78th birthday, February 18, at 1 pm with Rev. Cynthia Bauleke officiating. A reception will follow at the First Congregational Church, D Street and Cornwall Ave, Bellingham. Mrs. Tobiassen was born in the Ten Mile area on February 18, 1917 to Jacob and Carrie Meyers Sinlan. She attended Meridian Grade School and Meridian High School. She was married to Lloyd E. "Toby" Tobiassen in Lawrence, WA on September 22, 1934 and they enjoyed fishing together. She is survived at home by her husband of 60 years; sons Lloyd Tobiassen and wife Joyce of Everson, Larry Tobiassen and wife Karen of Bellingham and daughter Maxine Meade of Sheridon, IL and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Marion Evans of Laurel and brother Vernon Sinlan of Everson. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Whatcom County, Bellingham, WA.
