She married John Peter in 1889, and had children Ivy May Peter, John James Peter, Edith Matilda Peter, Percy Roy Peter, Herbert Edward Peter, Cyril Thomas Peter, and Eileen Rose Peter. Edith Peter died at age 71 years old on March 15, 1947 in Boolarra.
