    Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather Died September 4th, 2015 Age 96. Ed served his country in World War II and was a life-long resident of South St. Paul; a Realtor throughout his life who took pride in providing many in the community with their first homes. Preceded in death by his loving wife Rose; son-in-law Gary Eckstrom; sister Rosemary (John) O'Toole, brother Tom; sisters-in-law Alice Kuntz and Fran (Ray) Heinsch; brothers-in-law Ted (Lil) Sobaskie, Tom (Helen) Sobaskie, and Clem Sobaski. Survived by five children, Tim Kuntz (Nancy Sauber), Greg (Wendy) Kuntz, Mary Eckstrom, Kathy (Scott) Ward, Anne (Steve) St.Martin; 15 grandchildren, Anna Sauber Kuntz (Matt Kiel), Amy (Corky) Newton, Liz (Patrick) Clark, Ed Kuntz, Jenny Eckstrom, Kristin (Andrew) Moran, Christopher, Kaitlin, Michael, Steven, Kevin Ward, Ryan, Nick, Eric, Stephanie St.Martin; 4, soon to be 5, great grandchildren, Adam, Ethan, and Avery Newton, Aurelia Kiel, "baby to be" (Baby Moran); brothers Bob, Don (Eleanor), John Jr. (Dolores); sisters-in-law Dorothy (Leonard) Nerka, and Rita Sobaski. Ed was devoted to his faith and the Lord. He loved his family, friends and the community of South St. Paul. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 745 6th Ave, SSP, with visitation at the church one hour prior to the service and visitation from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with reflections at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Southern Funeral Home, 414 Marie Ave, SSP.
