    EDWARD CARL PUTH SR. , 68, of Rumson, died Sunday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was vice president of finance at Electronic Associates Inc., West Long Branch, since 1967, and was a controller for G.B. Ltd., Freehold, for two years. Prior to that, he was controller-director of administration at ITEK, Rochester, New york, from 1963 - 1967, and was a treasurer/controller at International Telephone and Telegraph from 1957 - 1964. He was a communicant of Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven, a member of the Bristol Sailing Club, Bay Head. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Puth was born in Newark and lived in Pittsford, New York, and in Irvington before moving to Rumson in 1967. Surviving are his wife, Lucille Lusk Puth; two sons, Edward Carl Puth Jr., Shrewsbury, and Charles O. Puth, Rumson; two daughters, L. Pamela Bosmans, Stafford, Virginia, and Dr. Nancy A. Puth, North Scituate, Rhode Island; his mother, Eleanor Weismantel, Holland, Pennsylvania, a sister, Wilma Rauson, Plainsboro; and four grandchildren. John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank is in charge of arrangements. - Asbury Park Press (Asbury Park, New Jersey) Tuesday, September 28, 1993.
