Edward David Hinkley of Werribee, Victoria Australia was born in 1885 in Wagga Wagga or Queanbeyan, NSW to John Hinkley and Annie (Mcintyre) Hinkley. He had a brother Duncan Alexander Hinkley. He married Hannah Eliza (Spilsbury) Hinkley in 1909, and had children Gladys Madge (Hinkley) Cooke, Lewis Edward John Hinkley, Alan Hinkley, Eileen May (Hinkley) Parsons, and Les Hinkley. Edward Hinkley died at age 65 years old on February 6, 1951 in Werribee, City of Wyndham County, VIC.
