Edward James Aghan of Walgunyah Australia was born in 1883 in Wahgunyah, Indigo Shire County, VIC to William Young Aghan and Elizabeth (Southgate) Aghan. He had siblings Mary Aghan, Samuel Aghan, Lila Aghan, Emily Aghan, Albert James Aghan, Ruby Elizabeth (Aghan) Curtis, William Henry Aghan, Martha Phyllis "May" Aghan, and David George Aghan. He married Ellen Jane (Clarke) Aghan in 1911, and had children James Wesley Aghan, Mabel Irene Aghan, Leonard Roy Aghan, and Alma Louisa Aghan. Edward Aghan died at age 71 years old on October 29, 1955 in Coburg, City of Merri-bek County.
