Edward Pirigyi of Ft. Meyers Fl. passed away peacefully on Monday,February 2,2015. He was born in Perth Amboy NJ and grew up in Fords NJ. Later moved to Lakewood,NJ and married Diana,his wife for 13 years. They moved to Houston,Texas in the late 70s. Most of his life was spent in Galveston and Austin area. Last year he moved to St. James Island Fl. He later took ill and spent several months recovering in area facilities. He then moved into Hidden Oaks Assisted Living facility where he died of natural causes. He worked many years in car sales,then went on to own several furniture stores before becoming owner/operator of the ''Grout Menders'' tile company. He loved his horses and dogs,as they were like his children. He loved nature,going fishing and crabbing. Ed was predeceased by his father John Pirigyi,his sister Brenda (Pirigyi) Greene and his nephew Tommy Greene. He is survived by his mother Yolanda(Jean) Talbott of Avenel, NJ. His brothers Jim,John and Howard Pirigyi, sisters Linda (Pirigyi) Lovasz and Lisa (Talbott) Washington, several nephews and nieces great nephews & great nieces. Ed is also survived by his former mate and longtime friend Betty Ince. He will be sadly missed,but never forgotten. We all love you very much!
