He began his service on January 2, 1942, and he was discharged on February 24, 1946, after serving for a total of four years and 53 days. Edward married Frances (1924-2011). Together they had four children. Edward Joseph Sesko later moved to Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan, where he lived until he passed away at the age of 72 on January 24, 1993.
