Edward Joseph Sesko was born on February 19, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to Konstanty Sesko (born around 1881) and Magdaline Nowakowski (1889-1982). He had completed grammar school and was employed by Swift & Co. at the time of his enlistment on October 9, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. He was assigned to the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA. He held the rank of Private, Selectees (enlisted Men), and his enlistment branch was N. Sesko's military serial number was 36300846. He began his service on January 2, 1942, and he was discharged on February 24, 1946, after serving for a total of four years and 53 days. Edward married Frances (1924-2011). Together they had four children. Edward Joseph Sesko later moved to Clinton Township, Macomb County, Michigan, where he lived until he passed away at the age of 72 on January 24, 1993.
