Introduction

I didn't know my father but I sure would have like to know him. Its to late now. Edward Francis Rohelia was born to Joseph Cleo Rohelia (1921 - 1969) and Helen Carmelita Tormey (1922 - 1993). His father was born in Rhode Island, as was his mother. He had three siblings, including Patricia Irene and Joyce Lelia Rohelia. Edward Rohelia married Penny Marie Simpson on June 28, 1982 in Norfolk, Virginia. They divorced on July 17, 1984 and said that they didn't have children. According to Edward's Virginia death certificate, he was shot in the chest during a fight in an office building and he died twelve days later in Medical Center Hospitals in Norfolk, Virginia. At the time of his death, he was a tow truck operator. The information on his death certificate was provided by his daughter, Mary Rohelia.
