Edward T. Radzik Sr. of Deering, N. H., formerly of High Street, Deep River, died in New Hampshire Tuesday He was 85.
He was born in Lowell, Mass. He lived in Deep River for 43 years be fore moving to New Hampshire with his daughter. He was an Army veteran of World War il, active in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from Monsanto in 1978.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan R. Deuse of Deering: a son. Edward T Radzik Jr. of Groton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Ruth Downing Radzik, and a son, John, died earlier.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, with calling hours from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will follow in Fountain Hill Ceme tery, Deep River. Donations may be made to the Valley Shore Animal Welfare League, 647 Horse Hill Road, Westbrook, CT 06198 or the Deering Rescue Squad, Deering, NH 06244.
