Eileen (Fitchell) Lambert was born on December 2, 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri United States to Carl Fitchell and Esther Fitchell (Hayes), and had siblings Helen (Fitchell ) Marlow, Charlene (Fitchell) Stovall, Marie (Fitchell ) Bonney, and Carl Jr (Fitchell). She married Calvin G Lambert, and had children Esther E (Lambert) Martin, Calvin “Sonney” Jr Lamert, and Barbara Jean Lambert. Eileen Lambert died at age 69 years old on August 6, 1989 in St. Louis, and was buried at Saint Matthews Cemetery in St. Louis.

People liked it because they could hear about the results of the election between Harding and Cox before the morning papers arrived. Four years later, there were 600 commercial stations broadcasting in the U.S.
