Elbert Tindal was the seventh child of John Andrew Tindal and Mary Frances Barrington, born in Crenshaw County, Alabama on August 24, 1893. He married Bonnie Jewel Wingard in Honoraville in Crenshaw County on August 29, 1915. As far as I am aware they had only three children, the first, Edmond Hubert Tindal may have died at birth. However, from other sources, it seems he died on his 40th birthday on May 21, 1956.
At the birth of Lorenzo in 1919 the family of Elbert Tindal was living in Pike County, Alabama but by the time of the 1920 Federal Census they were living back in Honoraville, just north of Blackrock in Crenshaw County. Elbert died in Greenville, Butler County, Alabama on April 17, 1925. Jewell then moved to Camden in Wilcox County, Alabama where she died of a stroke on October 19, 1983 in. From all records, or the lack thereof, Jewel never remarried.
Elbert and Jewel are both buried at the Blackrock Primative Baptist Church Cemetery between Rutledge and Honorvaville at the Balckrock Community in Crenshaw County, Alabama.
