1924 Bathing Suit Models
Three bathing suit models at the beach in 1924. They were in Washington's Spring Fashion Show. Looks like what we might wear today to go shopping - maybe with a bit less cloth involved!

The models are (left to right) Dorothy Young, Eleanor Gianniny, and Betty Burgess.

Nearly 100 yrs ago in 1924 these three ladies demonstrated the latest in bathing suit styles for the Washington's Spring Fashion Show in DC.

I know the styles haven’t aged well, but frankly, I think I’d appreciate the extra sun protection nowadays.

I wore my grandmother’s old wool swim suit from late 1800s in quite a few antique style shows!
Wish I had pics of those shows...!
