Eli Rossiter was born in 1842 at Writhlington in Radstock, Bath and North East Somerset County, England United Kingdom to John Rossiter and Sarah Jane Paradise, and had siblings Henry James Rossiter, Caroline Rossiter, Henrietta Rossiter, Emily Rossiter, Elizabeth Rossiter, George Rossiter, Job Rossiter, John Rossiter, Sarah Rossiter, Eliza Ann Rossiter, Frederick George Rossiter, Sidney Rossiter, and Jayne Rossiter. Eli was baptized on February 12, 1843 at St Mary Magdalene, Writhlington in Radstock. Eli Rossiter died at age 62 years old in 1904 in Sedgefield, County Durham County.
