Elizabeth Frances (Gillies) Blackney 1880 - 1920

Elizabeth Frances (Gillies) Blackney of Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County, VIC Australia was born in 1880 in Talbot, Central Goldfields Shire County to Malcolm Gillies and Mary Ann (Brennan) Gillies. She had siblings George Albert Gillies, Thomas Joseph Gillies, Eileen Mary (Gillies) Dalton, Ethel Jane (Gillies) Gore, and John James Gillies. She married George Thomas Blackney in 1905, and had children Eileen Mary Blackney, Vera Dorothy Blackney, Clarence Henry Blackney, Norman John Blackney, Linda Frances Blackney, and Desmond Thomas Blackney. Elizabeth Blackney died at age 39 years old on December 15, 1920 in Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County.
