    ELIZABETH PAINTER HUTCHINS, born on the 15th of December 1918, passed away on the 11th of October 2008. She was born to Theophilus Shickel Painter and Anna Thomas Painter. She was a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Virginia. She was active in the Harris County Medical Society Alliance, John McKnitt Alexander Chapter of DAR, past Regent; Alpha Phi Alumnae Chapter; National Society of Colonial Dames of America; Junior League of Houston. She was predeceased by her husband, S.P.R. Hutchins, M.D. She is survived by daughters Elizabeth and husband Jack C. Cunningham Jr., Debora and husband, Richard A. Darby, and son, William A. Hutchins and wife, Diane; grandchildren, Betsy and Megan Cunningham, Mary Darby, Will and Mark Hutchins. She is also survived by three siblings and their spouses. The memorial service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the 18th of October, at West University Baptist Church, 6218 Auden Street in Houston. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Marlin, Texas.
