Elleanor Luke ( Lawrence ( Boots 1842 - 1921
Elleanor (Boots) Luke was born in November 1842 to James Boots and Eliza Boots, and had a brother Abraham Thomas Boots. Elleanor's partner was George Thomas Luke, and they had children Thomas Edward Luke and Daisy May Luke. She married Elias Neeve Lawrence, and they had children Elizabeth Learmonth ( Lawrence, Emily Faith Wainwright ( Lawrence, Hannah Lawrence, Eva Lawrence, and Charles Lawrence. Elleanor Luke died at age 78 years old in March 1921.

The Nepean Times, Penrith. Saturday 12th March 1921. Death of Mrs. G. Luke, Senr. Mrs. Elleanor Luke, relict of the late Mr. George Luke, died at her residence, Erskine Park, on Saturday afternoon, at the age of 78 years, after an illness of about five months duration. Deceased was a native of the district, in which she resided all her life, and in which she was very well known and greatly esteemed. Her maiden name was Boots, she being a member of a well-known family of the district. Deceased was married twice, her first husband being Mr. Elias Lawrence, who pre-deceased her many years, leaving the following daughters and sons: Mrs. J. Wainwright ( Kingswood ), Mrs. Learmonth ( Erskine Park ), Mrs. Taylor ( Ryde ), Mrs. Hockey ( Campbelltown ), Mrs. J. Luke ( Erskine Park ), Mr. Charles Lawrence ( who died about six years ago ) and Mr. James Lawrence ( Seven Hills ). Deceased married Mr. George Luke ( himself a widower ), who died last October, at the age of 74 years. Their surviving two daughters and son are Miss Resa Luke, Miss Daisy Luke, and Mr. Thomas Luke ( all living at Erskine Park ). Two step-sons of deceased viz., Ald. George Luke ( St.Marys ), and Walter Luke ( Erkine Park), also survive.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
