Ellen (Annear) Wheaton was born in 1873 to Joseph Annear and Susan Ann (Oates) Annear, and had a brother John Annear. She was in a relationship with William Curnow Wheaton, and had children Reginald Victor Wheaton and Lillias Victoria (Wheaton) Marrow. Ellen Wheaton died at age 81 years old on December 8, 1955.

Introduction

The Bendigo Independent.1st December 1896. MATRIMONIAL. At the residence of the bride's parent's, at Long Gully, on November 23, Mr. William C. Wheaton, second son of Mr. S. A. Wheaton, of High-street, Golden Square, was married to Miss Nellie Annear, youngest daughter of Mr. Joseph Annear. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. Hicks, of Clunes. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked exceedingly pretty in a pongee silk, trimmed with lace, ribbon and passementerie to match, with the usual wreath and veil.
