She had siblings Elizabeth Ann Horner, Richard Horner, Wilhelmina Frances Horner, Lesley Horner, Rose Edna (Horner) Trevan, Isabella Horner, Thomas Horner, and Evelyn Matilda (Horner) Merriman. Elsie May Horner married Cecil Robert Thomson in 1916, and died at age 79 years old in 1968 in Malvern, City of Stonnington County.
