Great Aunt and GodMother
Elsie was my great Aunt (my maternal Grandfather's sister) She had a very storied life and I remember as a little girl thinking she was this grand lady. She was single most of her life as her husband died young. She worked as a secretary for Patricia Murphy who owned the famous Candlelight restaurants in NY and FL. Patricia mentioned her in her memoir "Glow of Candlelight" and I have the signed copy to my Aunt. I know that she did a lot of traveling throughout her life. I have a very beautiful picture of holding me as a newborn and I cherish it.
