Elwood L. Livingston is the son of Sylvia Gamble (1855-1945) and Charles Livingston (1851-1915). He was born on October 16, 1902 in Freestone County, Texas and had siblings Fannie (1879-1939), Ellis (1880-1966), Sarah (1883-1974), Will (1885-1967), Mary (born 1888), Mattie (born 1890), George (1893-1951), and Charles Livingston (born 1899). They grew up in Justice, Texas. He married Irete Maetassi Demus (1901-1979) and had multiple children together including Elwood Livingston Jr (1927-1995), Dorothy Maybell (1929-1996), Charles David (1932-1989), Lonell Rolland (1934-1989), Culey Mae (1936-2008), and Sylvia Ida Monodel (1939-1999). Elwood Livingston Sr. passed away on January 29, 1996 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA.
