The Age, Melbourne. 18th April 1931. WOODFIELD ( Rita Gadd ) - On the 12th April, at Strathmore Private Hospital, Clifton-grove, Preston, to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Woodfield, 45 Goldsmith-avenue, East Preston, - a daughter ( Elwynne Bessie ). Both well.

The Herald Sun, Melbourne. 22nd December 2009. BARKER, Elwynne Sue ( nee Woodfield ) Passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2009, aged 78. Mum, although we spent many years apart overseas, you were always there for us. The values you instilled remain part of us forever, you will be dearly missed, much love - your son Geoff, daughter-in-law Juby and granddaughters Annissa, Nadine and Shamika. Deeply saddened and always in our hearts Mum, you have always been a part of our daily lives with all of my family and friends, you have touched so many of our friends throughout your years and left your legacy with my family with your wonderful smile and your caring and unconditional thoughts and love. Mum you will always be remembered for eternity, with much love - your son Rodney, your daughter-in-law Elvira and your grandchildren Katherine, Jayson, Patrick and James ( and your favorite dog Krikit ).
