    Ember Paul Lemaire Sr was born on August 7th, 1903 to Ferreal Lemaire (1877 - 1963) and Clara Dartez (1880 - 1959) in Louisiana and he had siblings Exavier, Earl, Freddie, and Fereall Jr., and half-siblings Canby and Melba Lemaire. On his February 1942 World War II draft card, Ember described himself as being five feet nine inches tall and as weighing 185 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair, and a "ruddy" complexion. Ember P. Lemaire married Leonie JS Gaspard (1909 - 1976) and they had five daughters, including Mildred Marie (1933 - 1999) and two sons, Allen Joseph (1932 - 1982) and Ember Paul Jr. (1939 - 2000).     EMBER LEMAIRE ARANSAS PASS - Ember LeMaire, 68, died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness. LeMaire was born in Louisiana. He had lived in Aransas Pass 15 years and was a commercial fisherman. He was a member of the Catholic Church. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Marshall Funeral Home chapel in Aransas Pass. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. - Corpus Christi Times (Corpus Christi, Texas) Sunday, January 2, 1972 on page 15.

Ember LeMaire
My Grandfather loved spoiling his grandchildren buy taking us to the store for candy and Orange Crush Soda, his favorite. He was a hard worker and took care of his family the best life had to offer him. He was once frowns keeper for the Stark Family in Orange Texas. He purchased his own Shrimp Boat later where he worked Shrimping in the Gulf of Mexico for many years until his death. He was a kind hearted man who treated people with kindness and respect. I loved him dearly.
