Emily (Jarvis) Boykett of East Melbourne, City of Melbourne County, VIC Australia was born in 1858 in Ballarat East, City of Ballarat County to Elizabeth Heard Jarvis and Thomas Jarvis. She had siblings Thomas Jarvis, Thomas Jarvis, Sarah Jarvis, Elizabeth Ann Jarvis, Florence Jarvis, William Jarvis, John Jarvis, Louis Jarvis, and Mary Jarvis Howlett. She married John George Boykett in 1879, and had children Thomas Homest Boykett, Mary Beatrice Elizabeth Boykett, John George Boykett, Francis William Boykett, Emily Rachel Hannah Boykett, Esther Irene May Boykett, and Daisy Eline Lucy Boykett. Emily Boykett died at age 62 years old on June 7, 1921 in East Melbourne, City of Melbourne County.

Princess Victoria was married to Prince Friedrich of Prussia in St James's Palace, London and as with all things royal in Victorian England, everyone wanted it played at their wedding.
