Ernest George Howlett of Springdallah, Golden Plains Shire County, VIC Australia was born in 1903 in Smythesdale to Annie Belinda (Boden) Howlett and Thomas Benjamin Howlett. He had siblings Ida Eveleyn Howlett, Vera May Howlett, Myrtle Gladys Howlett, Rita Elma Howlett, Thomas Leslie Howlett, Alfred John Howlett, and Arthur Raymond Maxwell Howlett. Ernest Howlett married Esther Margaret Hope in 1932, and died at age 69 years old on August 29, 1973 in Springdallah.
