Ernest Leslie George Price was born in 1918 in Pingelly, Shire of Pingelly County Western Australia to Otto Preitz and Maud Eleanor Pearce, and had siblings Fredrick William Preitz, Winfred Maud Preitz, Muriel May Preitz, Mary Ruth Preitz, Colin Vernon Preitz, Allen Alec Preitz, and Phyllis Cavell Preitz. He married Doris May Pryor, and had children Kevin Leslie Price, Peter Terence Price, Wayne Gordon Price, Leigh Yvonne (Price) Craig, and Carl Robertson Price. Ernest Price died at age 79 years old in 1997 in Perth.
