    Ernest Thomas Tircuit was born to Clement Tircuit (1894 - 1964) and Hilda H. Richard (1901 - 1963) on July 31, 1921 in Louisiana and he had one brother, Albert Clement Tircuit Sr. (1917 - 2008). Ernest Tircuit married Marion Bellaci )1921 - 1978) in about 1939 and they had three children, including Jerry Joseph (1945 - 1990) ,John Arthur (1947 - 1947), and Sherri Ann (1960 - 2018). On his February, 1942 World War II draft card, Ernest described himself as being five feet seven inches tall and as weighing 120 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair, and a dark complexion. He also had a skin eruption on both cheeks "supposedly temporary".

In 1921, in the year that Ernest Thomas Tircuit Sr was born, on November 11th, the first burial was held at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. The body of an unknown soldier - selected by Army Sgt. Edward F. Younger who was highly decorated for valor and received the Distinguished Service Cross in "The Great War" - was brought back from France (World War 1) and placed in the newly completed tomb. President Warren G. Harding officiated at the interment ceremonies.

Poland expected help from France and the United Kingdom, since they had a pact with both. But no help came. By October 6th, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany held full control of the previously Polish lands. Eventually, the invasion of Poland lead to World War II.
