    Ethan Frederick Imhoff, age 19, of Coral, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Ethan had a way of making everybody feel comfortable and loved, and will be greatly missed, especially by his mother, Judy Imhoff; father, Patrick Imhoff; brother, Maxwell; sisters, Amber, Ariana, and Elise; grandparents, Fred and Helen Zomerhuis, Robert and Beverly Imhoff, and MAGI; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ethan was one of my best friends and I spent most of my childhood with him. He had a quirky, lovable personality and a great sense of humor that just about anyone could get along with. He was fiercely loyal to his friends, and I know that he would have defended me or any one of his friends with his life without a second thought, which I think is the greatest measure of a man. His tragic death is an indictment of all of us who survive him, and I bear no small measure of guilt over having not been there for him when he needed me most.

It is my sincerest hope that he found the peace and acceptance in death that he never found in life.
