Ethel Mabel Jane (Abell) Brown of Malvern, City of Stonnington County, VIC Australia was born in 1875 at Sandridge to John Perkins Casper Shum Abell and Elizabeth Jane (Keam) Abell. She had siblings Reginald Lennington Abell and John Abell. She married Walter Badger Brown in 1904, and had children Doris Brown, Lorna Mavis Brown, and Muriel Brown. Ethel Brown died at age 68 years old on May 31, 1944 in Malvern, and was buried on June 2, 1944 at St Kilda Cemetery in Saint Kilda East, Port Phillip City County.
