She had siblings John Arthur Pettifer, Elizabeth Mary Pettifer, Arthur Edgar Pettifer, Ellen Mary (Pettifer) Bellears, Albert Henry Pettifer, and Joseph William Martin Pettifer. Ethel Noble married Henry Victor Noble in 1927, and died at age 88 years old on January 17, 1979 in Tongala Hospital.
