Joanne, Jeffrey, Christopher, Michele, Sue are children of the late Eugene Herman Rabot ( 1927- 2008) and Jacqueline Doris Rabot ( Pfleeger) who is alive today. Eugene Herman Rabot and Kurt Rabot are the children of the late Herman Rabot. Herman Anton Rabot(1899-1983) and Peter Rabot(1899- ?) are the children of ???? Peter Rabot (Herman’s Brother) who was a delivery Person that delivered Boars Head meats/Brockwurst from Ridgewood Queens, NY was killed in an accident while delivering his meats. In 1927, in the year that Eugene Herman Rabot was born, the first "talkie" (a movie with music, songs, and talking), The Jazz Singer, was released. Al Jolson starred as a cantor's son who instead of following in his father's footsteps as expected, becomes a singer of popular songs. Banished by his father, they reconcile on his father's deathbed. It was a tear-jerker and audiences went wild - especially when they heard the songs. Thus begun the demise of silent films and the rise of "talkies".

In 1947, by the time he was 20 years old, in June, the Marshall Plan was proposed to help European nations recover economically from World War II. It passed the conservative Republican Congress in March of 1948. After World War I, the economic devastation of Germany caused by burdensome reparations payments led to the rise of Hitler. The Allies didn't want this to happen again and the Marshall Plan was devised to make sure that those conditions didn't arise again.

In 1956, he was 29 years old when on May 20th, the U.S. tested the first hydrogen bomb dropped from a plane over Bikini Atoll. Previously, hydrogen bombs had only been tested on the ground. The Atomic Age moved forward.

In 1976, at the age of 49 years old, Eugene was alive when The United States celebrated the Bicentennial of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. It was a year long celebration, with the biggest events taking place on July 4th.

In 1994, he was 67 years old when on May 6th, former political prisoner, lawyer, and activist Nelson Mandela was elected the first black President of South Africa. He was 75 when he was elected and he served one five-year term.
