This is the wedding of Elmer James Lund, son of Pete and Alida Lund, to his second wife, Eva Lucile Annes. They married on 17 Aug 1942 at Aberdeen, South Dakota. Eva is the daughter Neal/Neil Delos Annes b. 1887 SD-d. 1953 and his wife Blanche Louise Febuary b. 25 Aug 1892 Carter Co, TN - d. Oct 1972 Phoeniz, AZ. Eva was an only child and she and Elmer had no children of their own issue, but she raised his three children by his first wife, who had been tragically killed when they were small, as if they were her own. Eva was very interested in genealogy and came from a famous line of the Annes family. She compiled a Lund record as well. She was born 30 Aug 1912 at Johnson City,TN and died on 14 July 1988 in Phoenix, Maricopa Co, Arizona. She is buried at Greenwood Mausoleum, at Phoenix, AZ.
