She married William Lewis McCune on October 21, 1944 in Grand Haven, Ottawa County, MI, and they were married until Evalynn's death on December 23, 2005 in Branch, Lake County. Evalynn Mccune had a child William L McCune, Jr.

Introduction

My grandma was the most loving, beautiful, kind hearted person I've ever known. Her and my grandpa were more like my parents, I was with them more than not. Not a day goes by that I don't miss being with them both and I will forever be grateful that I was a part of their lives. I love you grama and Bumpa).

Obituary

Evalynn McCune passed away on Friday, December 23, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 61 years, William, her children William (Jacci) McCune Jr. of Baldwin, Robert McCune, Nancy (Richard) Smith, and Kathy (Allen) Miel all of Muskegon, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, her sisters Albertha Mosser of Boyne City, and Alyce (James) Veach of Muskegon, and many nieces and nephews. A Life Story Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 14 at the Stephens Life Story Funeral Home in Scottville with Rev. Tim Yankee of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Friends may meet with her family for a time of visitation on Saturday from 12:30 PM until time of services at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
