Evelyn was a class act. She was descended from Hawaiian royalty. She had two children from her first marriage, a daughter and a son, both of Hawaii, and then a son, Kevin, from her marriage to Robert Kaplowitz. Kap and Evelyn enjoyed trips to Disney World. Her husband, Robert "Kap" Kaplowitz, owned B/K Properties, a real estate firm in West Palm Beach, Florida.
