Everett Philipps was born on September 7, 1926 to Adolph Philipps and Regina Philipps (Rivers), and had siblings Aloysuis John Philipps, Marguerite Magdalen Philipps, Jeanett Mary Philipps, Baby Boy Philipps, Donald Francis Philipps, Virginia Mae Philipps, Marcella Marie Philipps, Dorothy Elaine Philipps, Eleanor Theresa Philipps, Catherine Regina Philipps, and Robert Joseph Philipps. He married Winifred Philipps on April 7, 1951, and died at age 37 years old on February 25, 1964. Everett Philipps was buried at Church of the Immaculate Conception Wilson Minnesota.

    Everett R Philipps Tuesday February 25th 1964 R Philipps, 37 Winona Rt.2 died today at 4:25a.m. Where he had been a patient for two days he was a farmer. He was born Sept. 7, 1926 born to Mr. And Mrs Adolph Philipps and had lived in the same home his entire life. He served with the U.S. Army of Occupation in Japan after WWII. He married Winifred Kunst April 7th 1951 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winona. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Wilson and it's Holy Name Society. Survivors are his mother Mrs. Regina Philipps, his wife Winifred, one son Bernard at home four daughters, Nadean, Vickie, Linda and Michelle. Three brothers Donald and Robert of Minneapolis and Alois of Witoka Seven sisters Mrs Wilfred (Marguerite) Redig of St. Charles Mrs. George (Virginia) Koeing of Homer and Mrs. J.D. (Marcella) Scott Mrs. Joseph (Jeanette) Lelwica Mrs. Eugene (Dorothy) Chadbourn and Mrs. LeRoy (Catherine) Czaplewski of Winona and Mrs George (Eleanor) Roloff of Greenbay. His Father has died. Funeral services will be Friday at 9:45 a.m. at Burkes Funeral Home and 10:30 at Immaculate Conception Church Wilson. The Rev. Joseph La Plante officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon or evening. Rosary will be said at 8pm by Father La Plante, the Holy Name Society and the St. Joseph Society

Everett served in WWII as a mechanic. After the war he farmed in Wilson Minnesota and married Winifred Kunst on April 7 1951 they had five children Nadean, Vickie, Linda, Michelle and Bernard.
