My Grandfather
This is my grandfather. I was unable to attend his funeral and did have a short last call where ai was able to talk to him and tell him that I loved him and that he was a strong enabler of me searching for my own home. He and my bio grandmother split up and then he fell in love with a lovely woman and had my uncles. My non biological grandmother waded through tough waters from my maternal grandmothers part of the family and I was sad that my time with my grandfather was always interrupted because my parents could not to show respect and honor to this part of the family. My grandfather from what I can recall was funny and mischievous. A hard worker and grew tall stalks of bitter Mellon. He was a gardener through and through. I am happy he was able to follow his heart and be a part of Salinas in the historical and notable farming revolution. Little is known about the Filipinos and their dedication in workers rights. To me my grandfather is my beacon of hope to try and be better every day of my life.
