Introduction

Services for Ms. Faye Berta Coats were held 2 pm Sunday, June 10th at Smyrna Baptist Church. Rev. Bobby Ferguson and Rev. Jeff Taylor officiated with burial at Erin Cumberland Presbyterian cemetery. Ms. Coats, 57, passed away Friday, June 8th at Alliance Health Center in Meridian. Survivors include: 1 Son: Donald Ray Coats and wife Lisa of union 2 Sisters: Henry Earl Walters of Union Jeanette Foy of Union 2 Brothers: Thomas Hillman of Louin Calvin Hillman of Collinsville She was survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Coats was preceded in death by her husband; Donald E. Coats, 1 Daughter, Angela Kay Coats, Daddy, Rufus "Dub" Hillman and mama, Vertie Lee Hillman.
