Filomena was devoted to her husband and her 3 children, Clara/" Clavodina", Anthony, and Rita. She kept her home and garden immaculate. There was a perfect lawn in front, with a circular area in the center, with a rosebush. There were perennial plants ( hosta, Chinese lantern, bridal wreath bush, a perfectly clipped hedge around the lawn...and the most delicious tomatoes in the backyard garden, near the chicken coop, and a field of tall hollyhocks).
